PEN Greece recognizes the enormous contribution of Hellenists and Translators to the promotion and dissemination of Greek literature abroad. Over the years, their contribution was the most essential step of Greek literature in the world’s literary development, as it transmitted to abroad the light of Greek thought the philosophy and in general the language that shaped Greek literature as a whole. Thanks to their unwavering devotion to Greek letters and their thorough work, Greek literature manages to reach the foreign readership and gain the place it deserves.
