Agathi Dimitrouka, born in Misolongui in 1958, lives in Athens and writes singing poetry, children’s stories and narrative (her book «IF», ed. Kaleidoskopio 2018, has received numerous awards), translates from Spanish and English, and is reader of patakis publishing house. She is heiress to the Greek poet and great Hispanist Nikos Gatsos, whose work she has the editorial care of. She teaches songwriting and translation in Anihtí Tehni and collaborates -presenting poets from Latin America- with the literary magazines Hartis (Greece) and Agulha (Brazil). Her work has been translated into several languages. In May 2019 she was invited as “Poet in Residence” by the Center for Hellenic Studies at Harvard University (USA).
