Andreas Karakokkinos was born in Cyprus, Morphou, which today is in the area occupied by the Turks. He lives in Thessaloniki since 1974, where he studied at the Law School of Aristotle University and worked in the banking sector.
He has published tree poetry collections: Breath of Spring (2007),lemon blossom in the open sea (2013) and Smugglers on a pirate (2017)
His poems have been published in literary magazines in Greece and Cyprus. He is a member of the Writers ‘Association of Thessaloniki and the Writers’ Union of Cyprus.
