Aristides Gerardis
Aristides Gerardis (Aris) was born in Agrinio in 1948. He grew up in Athens where he lives. He is a graduate of the Fachhochschule Berlin where he lived and worked for about ten years as a photography technician.
Gerardis has written fairy tales and scripts for radio shows. His poems and song lyrics have frequently won awards in various competitions. In his poetry, he has integrated and follows modern styles, his lyrics are directed by criticism of socio-political situations.
Recent awards:
First Prize in the Tenth World Poetry Competition of Hellenic Amfiktionia with the theme: “Greece’s invitation 1821-2021” The cradle of spirit, culture, and peace”. (May 2021).
Second Prize “Nikos Kazantzakis”- in the Literature Competition – Short stories. Radamanthy’s Publications. (October 2020)
He has published four poetry collections:
