Christina Kazazis was born in 1972 in London, UK. She obtained GCE ‘O’ levels and ‘A’ levels. She studied languages in the University of London (Queen Mary and Westfield College) and acting in the City Literary Institute, Mountview Drama school and the former Actor’s Studio in London. She continued her acting training in Greece in the Contemporary Drama School of Athens. She is now pursuing Method Acting courses with the Lee Strasberg Institute. She has worked as an editor, writer and translator in various publishing houses (ELT), and she has also worked as a teacher trainer, training English teachers under the auspices of the Ministries of Education of both Greece and Cyprus. She has taught acting, improvisation and acting in the English language in a number of Ministry-accredited drama schools in Athens. She studied applied linguistics and holds a Cambridge Delta. She now splits her professional time between coaching adults in English, translating and acting for the theatre and television. She has translated several Greek plays into English, including plays by Yiannis Ritsos.
