Christos Koukis is a poet. He has published seven poetry books in Greece, India, Serbia and France. The past ten years he has participated in many international poetry festivals in Europe, America and Asia and his poems have been translated into fifteen (15) languages and included in various anthologies. Since 2019, he has been organizing and directing international poetry festivals in Greece and abroad while visiting schools and prisons to spread poetry and literature. During 2012-2016, he filmed the portraits of more than thirty well-known Greek poets, which have been published in the Hellenic Authors’ Society. In 2017 he participated as a poet/copywriter in Documenta 14. He lives and works in Athens.
