Eleni Birbili was born in 1958 in Rethymno, Crete. She lived in Thessaloniki where she worked as a graphic designer. In recent years she has been living permanently in Chania, Crete.
She has published the books: The Drunken Summers of Love, Love Travels at Night, The Dreams are Still Singing, The Autumn of Miracles, edited by Kedros Publications, The Night of the Great Rage, Bartzoulianos Publications, The Marble Girl, self-published. Ariadne’s Thread, published by Hydroplano Editions.
