Evangelos Avdikos
Emeritus professor, University of Thessaly/ Greece, novelist/prose writer
He was born in Preveza (1951), originated in Syrrako, Ioannina. He studied philology at the University of Ioannina and did his PhD at the same institution in urban folklore. He served in Secondary Education for 14 years and then at the Democritus University of Thrace and for several years in the Department of History, Archaeology and Social Anthropology of the University of Thessaly. He has written 20 monographs and many of his articles have been published in international journals. His works in prose: a. Short stories have been published in the magazines: IAMVOS, MANDRAGORAS, O ANAGNOSTIS, ENTEFKTIRION, PEREMVASI, but also in collective volumes.
