Fernanda Lemos de Lima is Associate Professor of Greek Philology and literary theory and director of the Extension Program of New Greek Studies at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro – UERJ). She has taught Greek Language and Greek Literature at the undergraduate level. She teaches at the graduate level at the State University of Rio de Janeiro and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is the author of the book  Σκεφτόμαστε Ελληνικά – method of Modern Greek 1 (for the teaching of the Greek Language) and of the book Entre quartos, ruas e cafés: a poesia homoerótica de K.P.Kaváfis with studies on the erotic poetry of Cavafy. In 2017 she published the article “Greek culture through language: a Panorama of the teaching of Greek Studies at the University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil” in: N. Tsitsanoudi – Mallidis (ed.) Greek Language, Culture and Media. From ancient times to today. Athens: Gutenberg. She has organized an e-book with Proceedings of the Symposia, organized by the State University of Rio de Janeiro (Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro), Department of Greek Studies (Instituto de Letras). She is also preparing the publication of the translation of On the Mysteries of He has presented studies on Ancient and Modern Greek language and literature.
