Katerina Liatzoura was born in Stuttgart in 1972. She studied German Language and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has a master’s degree in cultural management from the Hellenic Open University. She lives in Chalkida, Evia, working as German language teacher in secondary education schools. She has published three poetry compilations and has also been featured in two short story anthologies. Her poems, prose poetry pieces and short stories have been published in various printed and online literary magazines and blogs. Other than translating contemporary Greek poetry into German and German poetry into Greek, she is a regular contributor to the online poetry magazine poiein.gr.
