Konstantinos Giannakos was born in Gouves, Northern Evia in 1965. He studied Greek Literature at the University of Ioannina and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since 2006 he has been living in the city of Chalkis and working as a Language, Literature and History teacher in Kanithos High School. His first novel, “Ratzif the Afghan” (Bookstars publications) was published in 2014 and in 2022 his second novel “Homeless” was published by Govostis publications. In the same year he earned a distinction for his short story “The Vow” in the short story competition: “1922-2022: uprooting and immigration” organized by Pen-greece. He is particularly interested in studying the Greek language. Photography and offshore sailing are some of his favourite pastimes.
