Loty Petrovits-Andrutsopulou
Loty Petrovits-Andrutsopulou has been born and lives in Athens. Up to now, 74 books of hers have been published (66 for children and young adults, three for adults and five theoretical about literature for young people). She has received the Ourani Prize from the Academy of Athens, two national prizes, a Pier Paolo Vergerio honorary diploma of the University of Padova, as well as 12 more prizes of young people literature, nine honorary diplomas and 7 honorary plackets. She has been twice a candidate for the international H.C. Andersen Award and four times for the international Astrid Lindgren award. Books of hers have been translated in five foreign languages, have been broadcasted and have been included in the thesis of Ph.D.s and post-graduate degrees. More information: http://www.loty.gr
