He was born and lives in Athens.
He studied Physics at the University of Athens.
He deals with all kinds of litterature: novel, novella, short story, fairy tale, theater and essay.
He has occasionally collaborated with various newspapers, magazines and websites in Greece publishing reviews, articles and literary texts.
He has been twice awarded the State Prize, has been nominated for the Andersen and Astrid Lindgren International Awards. His books have from time to time been awarded by the Society of Greek Writers, by the Greek Section of IBBY and by the USIBBY. One of his novels has been transferred to television, while other works have been transferred to the theater.
Some of his novels and short stories have been published in France, USA, Germany and Thailand
