Michaela Prinzinger is living and working in Berlin/Germany and Leiden/The Netherlands. She has translated a number of Greek authors such as Petros Markaris, Ioanna Karystiani, Rhea Galanaki, Maria Stefanopoulou and Amanda Michalopoulou. 2003 she was awarded the Greek-German Translation Prize of both Goethe Institute and National Book Center Athens and 2015 the Austrian National Prize for Literary Translation.
