Onoufrios Dovletis was born in Thessaloniki where he spent his childhood but now he lives in Athens. He has studied eight languages, translation, history, archaeology and acting in Greece and abroad. For years he worked as a translator for Greek and American companies (Foundation of the Hellenic World, Oxy Publications, Dousis, Sfera Studios), translating from travel and cook books to novels. Now he’s working as an actor, a tour guide and a writer, focusing mainly on poetry. So far he’s published two poetry collections: Ένας νέος δίχως νέα (A young man with no news) [2018], Θάνατος στην Ελλάδα (Death to Greece) [2021].
