Pavlos Andreou, born in 2000 in Larnaca, is a law graduate from the University of Reading and is currently pursuing his LPC/LLM at the University of Law. His first poetry collection, “Eye-misting Ice-Cream” (Thraca, 2022), received significant recognition, as it was included in the “Debut Poet of 2022” category of the shortlist for the “Reader” magazine in Athens. Additionally, he was honoured with the “State Award for New Writer 2022” in Cyprus and the Literary and Criticism Group award in the same category for the 2022 editions. He is a member of the Versopolis network of European poetry festivals and has participated in many anthologies, such as the trilingual anthology “Articulate” from Room for Art and the University of Granada, as part of an Erasmus program.
