Philologist, writer and artist. He was born on July 11, 1963. He comes from the holy place of Wagiewniki in Krakow, lives and works in Warsaw outside of diplomatic missions. Since 1990 he has been practicing the profession of diplomat, since 2024 he is on mission in Milan. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Philology of the University of Warsaw (specializing in Italian literature: degree in 1987, and Spanish literature: degree in 1988) and a doctorate from the University of Athens (modern Greek literature, 2008). In the years 2000/2009 he has taught modern Greek literature at the Laboratory of Modern Greek Studies of the University of Warsaw. He is a member of the Association of Greek Writers, the Association of Greek Literary Translators and the “Parnassos” Philological Association.
He was for a number of years a professor of modern Greek literature at the University of Warsaw. Under the direction of P. Krupkas, many theses of undergraduate and postgraduate students of modern Greek literature have been prepared on Greek and Cypriot literature of the 10th and 10th centuries, culture of modern Greece, Hellenism of Southern Italy, as well as in 2009 two independent editions of studies on Cavafy – Souri (comparative study) and G. Petropoulos from “Heliodorus” of Warsaw.
As a literary artist, he deals with poetry, short stories, essays, composition and lyrics of songs, translation and book criticism. He has also been involved in journalism and various cultural activities.
As an athlete and sports fan, Krupka is among the pioneers in promoting the relationship of sports to letters and the arts. Since 2000, he has been part of the cultural-educational team of the Polish Olympic Committee, within the framework of which he has held many national and international events, publications and publications. Among them stand out the poetic Olympic anthologies, an original initiative of Krupkas which he himself carries out after a group of new collaborators during the Olympic years. These are bilingual anthologies of poems of sports and Olympic content, from Poland and the Host Country of the Olympic Games, published with corresponding translations. So far, seven books in the series have been released in the years 2004-2016.
The publications of Paveus Krupkas from the period 1987-2020 include personal literary work, literary translations, essays and studies, book reviews and articles of philological, cultural and social content. They have been published independently, in magazines and in daily newspapers in Poland, Greece, Italy and Spain.
