
Geobanys Valle Rojas (Sancti Spíritus, Cuba, 1991) is a Cuban writer, poet, researcher, psychologist, and academic based in Athens, Greece. He holds a degree in Pedagogy and Psychology and formerly served as Assistant Professor at José Martí Pérez University of Sancti Spíritus, Cuba.
His literary work spans poetry, fiction, essays, and academic research. He is the author of several books, including Ese O, Baba; Adentro del alma… sí hace ruido; Entre Sábanas; Ori. Santa Palabra; Santería. Religión popular de Cuba; Guasimal. Un pueblo de historia, leyendas y tradiciones; Luna de Ciervo; José Martí. Sobre las alas de un águila blanca; Ópalo Negro; El precio de salir con vida; Eirini: el tiempo imperfecto del amor; Salud Mental en el Contexto Escolar Cubano: Enfoques, Desafíos y Perspectivas Multidimensionales; and La Psicología de la Infidelidad: por qué ocurre y cómo sanar; among others.
His works have been translated into several languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, and Greek. His poems and short stories have appeared in literary magazines and anthologies in Cuba, Spain, Greece, Chile, Argentina, and Ecuador.
Currently residing in Greece, Valle Rojas continues to develop his literary career while promoting intercultural dialogue through literature. He is a member of PEN Greece and CEDRO (Spanish Centre for Reprographic Rights).
