Fotis Kalamantis was born in Athens, where he graduated from the prestigious Varvakeio Model School. He holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and an MBA from Alba Graduate Business School.
His many years of professional experience in the world of major high-tech companies gave him an insight into the real mechanisms that drive the world—an understanding that no classroom has yet managed to provide, and perhaps never will. It is this knowledge of how the world truly works that he seeks to convey through the stories he tells.
He is the author of the novels GAME OVER (Kritiki, 2006), ENTELÓS KOUKOUROUKOU (Athens Voice Books, 2007), GAME OVER II – THERE ARE NO INNOCENTS (Athens Voice Books, 2010), THE GIRL WITH THE BACKPACK (Enastron, 2018), and WOLF WITH TEETH (Enastron, 2024), as well as the short-story collection UNFORTUNATELY, YOU’RE FIRED (Kritiki, 2014). His articles, commentaries, and short stories have appeared in magazines and literary anthologies.
