Vasianna (Vasiliki) Laspita was born in Athens. She studied Geology and Environmental Science. Her prose has been published and translated in short stories collections by PEN Greece and online. Creative writing and reading are, essentially, what sustain her. She is deeply interested in finding a universal literary language and in the exploration of gender and identity through writing. She is particularly fond of the surrealists.
