Ploutarchos Pastras was born in Athens in 1993. He is a publisher for the publishing house: “Kefalos Publications” and the president of “Kefalos Science, Culture & Literature Group”. “Kefalos Publications” has been active more recently in publishing personal and collective works, conducting literary and artistic competitions, organizing the annual poetry festival, as well as lectures of literary and scientific interest. “Kefalos Publications” has been publishing since 2017 the eponymous literary magazine “Kefalos – The literary magazine of Kefalonia” and since 2019 the newspaper: “Literary Step”. “Kefalos Publications” has also participated in the GreekLit translation program of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Greece since 2021.

Furthermore, Ploutarchos Pastras holds a B.Sc. Degree in Philology along with a Degree in Journalism. He is currently studying for an M.Sc. Degree in the Department of Linguistics and Literature. He has been actively writing since adolescence and his works have been published in personal collections, collective volumes and in literary magazines in Greece, Cyprus, India and Australia. He has been awarded prizes for his literary work in national and international competitions by Unesco, the Municipality of Byron, the Municipality of Drama, the Municipality of Skopelos and others.

Finally, he was the Vice President of the “International Society of Greek Writers & Artists” in 2019-2020 and a member of the Board of Directors of the “Greek Wikipedia Community Schools”.
