Vassilis Papatheodorou was born in in Athens, Greece in 1967. Published (till 2019) 28 books for children, teens and young adults. One of the most known and most awarded writers in Greece in the area of children and YA literature. He visits schools all over Greece and abroad, discussing with young people about their problems and about other social, political, climate issues. Four of his books have been translated into Turkish. A multi-awarded writer with seventeen (17) of the most prestigious awards in Greece incl. two (2) State Awards and also four (4) international distinctions (White Ravens)
