Andreas Mitsou has published nine collections of short stories and eight novels. He has been awarded with the Greek State Prize for Fiction for his book: Oresti Halkiopoulos’ Powerless Lies, with the Greek State Prize for his short collection ‘’The Exquisite Woman and the Fish’’, with the Academia of Athens Prize (Urani) for the collection of ‘’wasps’’’ and with the Greek Readers’ Award (EKEBI-ERT) for the novel ‘’Mr. Episkopakis’’
He holds a Ph.D in Philosophy, Medieval, Modern Greek Literature and English Literature. He has taught Creative Writing and Narrative Theories at EKEBI the Department of Philosophy and the Department of Communication and Media at the University of Athens, at IANOS Culture Club, FNAC et al.
His books have been translated into French, English and Italian.
