Ilia Louta was born in Kiato, Corinth, in 1968. She has studied philology in the Philosophical School of the National and Capodistrian University of Athens (1986-1990). She was member of the editorial board of Omprela literary magazine, where she published her work. She is now member of the editorial board of stigmalogou.gr. She lives and works in Athens.
