Marianna Nikolaou holds a PhD in Ancient Drama and Theatre Pedagogy from the University of the Aegean, with studies in Comparative Literature, English Philology, and Journalism-Mass Media Communication . She was a John McGrath Scholar at the University of Edinburgh, where she pursued Creative Writing. Her life moves between teaching and writing, cultivating language through poetry, short stories, theatre, and fairy tales. Her work has been awarded and published in collective volumes and literary journals, while she also leads creative writing workshops for children and adults. Her first poetry collection “Ek Gynaikos” (“Out of Women”), is published by Germanos Editions.
