Christos Tzanakos

Christos Tzanakos, born in Athens, is originally from Mani, Laconia, Greece. His studies include a postgraduate MBA and participation in Glasgow University’s doctoral program. His first book ‘PAEANS YAWP” (”IE PAΙ” in Greek) became an instant bestseller in Greece, was among the ten best-selling poetry collections in “public bookstores” and was nominated for Best Poetry Collection in 2019. The author’s second book, ”The Promithi”, was launched in December 2022 and immediately became a bestseller and received excellent reviews. It is translated into Ukrainian and is translated into English and Turkish. In 2024, as part of World Poetry Day, he organized an event with Greek and Turkish poets in Istanbul with the participation of the Patriarchate. He is a member of the All-Greek Union of Poets. ‘The Aeizoon’ (‘To ἀείζωον’ in Greek), a philosophical composition of prose and poetry, is his third book of poetry published in 2024.
