Akis Parodis was born and raised in Exarchia (Athens, Greece). He is an academic, lives and works permanently in Paris. He is regularly inspired by Nikos Kazantzakis and Odysseas Elytis, but also by many other Greek and International poets and writers, both classical and non-classical. He writes mainly prose and poetry. In 2022 and 2024 he was commented at the international poetry competitions erbacce and The Letter Review. His first poetry collection ‘Sad Frog’ was published in 2024 and his second ‘Entropy of Memory – Homo Incurvatus in se’ will be published in January 2025 (Iolkos Publications).
