Lilly Kotsoni was born and raised in Athens, where she lives with her family. She studied Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business and continued her studies in Germany. At the same time, she was taught creative writing and literature alongside great authors. She works in the business field, but at the same time she studies poetry and literature. She started writing poetry at a very young age. She has published three poetry collections.

She has participated in the group collection “Epi lexei” by Fildisi Publications as well as for a number of years in the anthology “Poetic Diary” by Iolkos Publications.

Her poems and book reviews have been published in literary magazines and anniversary editions. Reviews of her work have been published in literary columns of newspapers and on websites.

She has participated in international poetry festivals and her poems have been translated into English and Italian.

Her poetry highlights themes such as human relationships, social inequalities, loneliness, loss, love, the passage of time, the power of silence.
