Antigoni Pantazi was born in Athens in 1978. Her first substantial contact with Art was classical and contemporary dance. She studied at the dance school of Niki Kontaxaki for 14 years. In 2000, she graduated with honors from the Drama School of the Art Theatre – Karolos Koun. In 2013, she obtained her degree from the Faculty of Philosophy of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki – Department of Philosophy and Pedagogy.

Her first book was published in 2003 by Dodoni Publications under the title “Sfalikhta.”It is a collection of short stories and poetry.

In 2017, she wrote her first play titled “It’s Okay – A One-Act play in Sessions.” The play was staged at the BIP theater during the 2017-2018 theater season. It deals with the way a woman begins to unravel the thread of her life, building a relationship with her invisible therapist and her visible self.

In 2023, she published her second book titled “Journeys on the Wall – Timeless Wall Calendar” an Ediphone books publication. It is a collection of nine poetic stories about absolute loneliness, confinement and the discovery of “magic” in everyday life as a means of survival.

Furthermore, the past year, some of her short stories and poems have been published in the ITRAVELPOETRY magazine.

She has worked as an actress at the Art Theater – Karolos koun, in productions directed by Mimis Kouyoumtzis and Maya Liberopoulou, as well as in other theatrical productions and television series. She has coordinated drama groups for amateur adults and children, as well as for individuals with special educational needs. In 2011, she directed the theatrical event “The Shell that makes a sound” during the presentation of the book “Pedagogy of Theatre” by Simos Papadopoulos, She has been a member of the jury at the 1st Amateur Theatre Festival , that took place at Heraklion-Crete in 2017.

She works as a private teacher for twenty years. Since January 2023 until now, she has been working as a career counselor at DYPA (formerly OAED).
