Sofia Chaniotaki was born and raised in Ierapetra. She taught as a philologist in Secondary Education and in schools of the diaspora. She is a PhD candidate at La Trobe University in Melbourne. She writes in Greek and Spanish. Literary works: Deka Selides (Ten Pages, Vakchikon, 2022), participation in the collective works Al gran Gabo / Los escritores griegos en homenaje al colombiano universal (initiative of PEN Greece, Enastron, 2024), En el espacio entre (anthology Nosside 40, 2025).
