Dimitra Palapani was born in the island of Kos. She is a graduate of the Pedagogical Academy of Rhodes and of the two-year Teacher Training Program. She is a retired teacher and lives in Nikaia, Piraeus. Her poems have been published in print and electronic literary magazines, as well as in poetry anthologies. In 2025 her first poetry collection, ” Where life drips”, was published by Metronomos publications. “Vowel in a dark blue cloud” is her second poetry collection.
