Ioannis Vallios is a Mechanical Engineer with a postgraduate degree in energy and environmental management. With many years of presence in the Greek and international energy market, he has contributed to specialized and innovative projects, collaborating with extroverted technical companies.
At the same time, he creatively moves in the field of poetry, music and literature, searching for the language of emotion and reflective expression.
His first poetry collection, “Fragments of Time” (Iolkos Publishing, 2023), captured his personal perspective on time and human experience. The second collection, “Ideotropia” (Iolkos Publishing, 2026), composes a colourful puzzle of thematic explorations, touching on issues of the digital age, absence, the environment, experiential experiences and poetry itself.
He has participated in anthologies such as “a-r-RITA” (Iolkos Publications 2024), “The Beauty of the World” (Vakxikon Publications 2026) where more than 50 poets share their message for the future of the planet, and he is also a member of PEN Greece.
His works have been published in literary collections (Iolkos Calendar 2024, 2025, 2026) and in electronic magazines (Monocle, Fractal, Literature, Bookpress).
