Aleka Plakonouri is a writer. She was born in Filiatra, Messinia. She studied low at the Democritus Univercity of Thrace and theatre at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Kedros publications published her works The Demons of Arezzo (2021) and A Hole in the Ceiling (2024).

Her play Philaenida, Filareti, Fotini was performed at the Topos Allou Theater.

She is a member of the Network of Women Writers Against Gender-Based Violence and Feminicide “Her Voice” and participates in the collective publication Her Voice (Kastaniotis Publications, 2023).

Her short stories, poems and critical texts have been published in print and online magazines. She lives in Athens and works as a editor.
