Lina Valetopoulou was born in Volos and lives in Larissa.  She graduated from the Classical High School and studied Classical Philology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He received a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Western Macedonia. She also has a degree in Piano.  She worked for over twenty years in Primary Education as a music teacher.  She speaks English, French and Italian.  She appears with her short stories in the collective edition “Street of Creative Writing 2”, (Oselotos, 2013), in the “Anthology of Short Story-Route 2014”, (Typewriter), in the magazine Mandragoras and in many internet sites.  She was awarded in the 4th Panhellenic short story competition “Because of art” in 2013, in honor of Cavafy, with the short story “The turtle” (7 Words, Metaichmio, 2013). Her first book was published by Gavriilidis entitled “Zoes se anadiplosi”( “Lives in folding”) (Athens 2014).  Her second book, the novel “Misi orthia misi chalasmata” (“Half standing half ruins” ) was also published by Gavriilidis in December 2018.
